About Dr. Feuer
A specialist who still believes in sitting down and listening.
Dr. Naomi Feuer practices neurology the way it was meant to be practiced: unhurried, exacting, and entirely her own. As founder of her Manhattan practice, she has built a model of care defined not by volume but by depth — every patient evaluated personally, every plan considered, refined, and followed through by the same physician from first visit to last.

The full story
After earning her Bachelor of Arts from Stern College at Yeshiva University, Dr. Feuer completed her medical degree at New York Medical College, an internship in Internal Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and a neurology residency at the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. She went on to complete fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital before joining the faculty at Weill Cornell Medical Center as Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology and serving as Assistant Attending Neurologist at New York-Presbyterian for seven years. During that time, she also served as Attending Neurologist at the Weill Cornell Center for Comprehensive Spine Care, working alongside neurosurgeons, physiatrists, and pain management physicians, and held teaching posts as Inpatient Service Teaching Attending and Neurology Clinic Preceptor. She left academic medicine in 2018 to found her own private practice, bringing that same institutional rigor directly to her patients without the constraints of a hospital system.
Board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 2010, Dr. Feuer maintains active affiliations with the American Academy of Neurology, the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the International Consortium of Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes & Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders, the World Muscle Society, and the Independent Doctors of New York.
Her standing in the field has been affirmed annually by the publications patients trust most: Dr. Feuer has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor every year since 2019, a Castle Connolly Exceptional Woman in Medicine every year since 2019, and a New York Super Doctor every year since 2020 — a level of sustained, peer-nominated recognition that few practicing neurologists can claim.
Her expertise extends into the literature itself: she is a published author in Neurology, JAMA Neurology, AJNR, and the Journal of Clinical Neuromuscular Disease, and a contributing author to the Textbook of Peripheral Neuropathy.
Today, Dr. Feuer treats the full spectrum of neurological disease — back and neck pain, muscle weakness and nerve injury, peripheral neuropathy, spine disorders, headache, memory complaints and cognitive impairment, and the complex, often misunderstood chronic illnesses that other practices don’t have time to untangle.
